I'm not a big fan of brown.

Hmmm, the picture of the kids is ok, but way too big. I caught myself thinking, "Ok, where's the the diary?". The saying adds a nice touch. I don't like that Nanowrimo link on the top of the page, it reminds of nanomeds from the Hulk. It doesn't really belong at the specific spot, either. It's a Vanished design. Reminds me of hot chocolate and how the undissolved sugar always rises to the top in that lighter brown color. I'm not a big fan of having the links right on top of the entry, either. I don't like the hover color for the links, it's hard to see.

I found it kinda hard to get into your diary. It was mainly a day log. You're going through a rough time in life. Being laid off isn't fun. I feel little emotion. You say it, but I don't feel it. Your focuses are obviously your kids and husband. Which is a good thing, keep up the mothering. You need to work on digging deeper, though. I'd like to know what your thinking about. Not just what happened today.
